Cranapple Stuffed Turkey

Its cranberry season and what goes better with cranberries than turkey of course! Here's a play on Thankgiving dinner. It takes less time to prep but has all the flavors you're look for.

Ingredients:
1/2 a turkey or 2-3 lb turkey breast cutlets (which ever you find at your grocery store will do)
1 large apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup whole cranberries
3/4 tsp poultry seasoning
2 cups stuffing (any brand will do), prepared according to package directions

Directions:
1. Prepare the stuffing according to package directions. In a medium bowl, stir in the apple, onion, cranberries, and poultry seasoning. Stuff the half turkey (or cutlets) with the stuffing mixture. You may need string to tie the turkey, but its your preference.

2. Place the stuffed turkey in the crock pot, cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.

Serve with your favorite side dish such as smashed cauliflower (recipe located in archives).
