Pizzelles

In order to make pizzelles, you'll  need a pizzelle press. I inherited mine from my grandmother. Its an antique, but it still works like new every year! I follow the recipe that came with the pizzelle press. The pizzelle dough is mostly egg so it is a sticky dough. The cookie takes half a minute to cook in the press, but to make a whole batch (I usually make a double batch), it usually takes a couple hours. The finished product is worth it!

Here is the finished product! Looks like a snowflake. I make these every Christmas to carry on the tradition my grandma started years ago.
